
Developing Athlete Plans
Half Marathon
- It is suggested, but not required, that you have experience in any of the possible scenarios listed below:
- Completion
of a 5 mile or 10K event
- Training
in an endurance sport, over the previous 12 weeks, such as yoga, Pilates
or strength training from 90 minutes to 3 hours per week
- Previous
running experience in the last five years
- Willingness to train 3 days per week for 12 weeks
- Ability to commit a total of 3.5 to 6.5 hours per week
